Katherine M. Evans Ph.D.

Kate Evans, Ph.D. is the principal and owner of Longboard Scientific Consulting Corporation based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Current projects include helping third-party laboratory testing startups - including assistance with licensing, regulatory compliance, laboratory design, and workflow optimization. She also supports testing laboratories with sample preparation, methods development and validation, training of staff, and ISO 17025 implementation, she recently obtained Lead Assessor certification with ANAB and A2LA. In addition to being an active member of, ASTM D37 Laboratory Subcommittee, AOAC CASP, she is also a contributing member of the CDPHE (CO) Pesticide Task Group (2022), MJH Life Sciences (CS&T) Board Member, Wiley Scientific Book Editor-Handbook of Analytical Testing and Processing Approaches to Hemp and current submission to Lab Design - Journal Special Issue (ACS).
